1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of Mappa Studio (mappa.me), run by Sportschord Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Mappa Studio.
2. The service
Mappa Studio lets you design custom posters from GPS route data and order physical prints. You can upload GPX files or import activities from Strava. We provide the design tools; printing and shipping are handled by our fulfilment partner (Prodigi).
3. Accounts
- You may create an account with an email and password or by connecting your Strava account.
- Guest checkout is available without creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Orders and payment
- All prices are displayed at checkout and include the cost of printing and shipping.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
- Once an order is submitted to our print partner, it cannot be cancelled. If you need to make changes, contact us as soon as possible at info@sportschord.com.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
5. Refunds and returns
- Because each print is made to order, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
- If your print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
6. Your content
- You retain ownership of any GPX data and route information you upload.
- By uploading content, you give us permission to process and render it so we can generate your poster and fulfil your order.
- You confirm that you have the right to use any route data you upload or import.
7. Strava integration
- Connecting Strava is optional. We request read-only access to your activities.
- Our use of Strava data complies with the Strava API Agreement.
- You can disconnect Strava at any time, which revokes our access to your activity data.
8. Intellectual property
The Mappa Studio name, logo, design templates, and software are owned by Sportschord Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without our written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Scrape or overload our systems with automated requests.
- Upload malicious files or content that could harm the service.
10. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Sportschord Ltd isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of Mappa Studio. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
11. Availability
We do our best to keep Mappa Studio available, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Occasional maintenance or updates may temporarily affect availability.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know on the website. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
